Workshop on Financial Literacy

Welcome to our workshop on financial literacy! Through this workshop, we hope to help you be more confident in managing your finances and making informed decisions about your money. The workshop will be facilitated by Irene Genzmer and Bridget Greenwood. Irene is a financial feminist and the founder of the sky is her limit, where she teaches and advises women on how to manage their finances. Bridget is the founder of The Bigger Pie and an advocate for involving women in the development and deployment of blockchain and emerging technology.

People belonging to marginalized groups often face more challenges in managing their finances which act as a hurdle to achieving financial security and independence. While everyone is welcome to join the workshop, we especially encourage women, queer people and bipoc individuals to participate. Our goal is to empower you with the knowledge, confidence and skills required to achieve your financial goals and secure yourself a stable financial future.
