About the event

Are women well-represented in economics? Join us for a thought-provoking discussion on the latest WiE Index results and female leadership in the field. The Women in Economics Initiative aims to promote gender equality and diversity in the field of economics by measuring and highlighting the representation of women in academic, public, and private sectors through the WiE Index. Dr. Sandra Kretschmer and Carolin Formella will present the latest results from 2022, followed by a panel discussion on female leadership in economics with three distinguished experts in the field: Dr. Theresa Kuchler, an Associate Professor of Economics at New York University; Dr. Beatrice Scheubel, a Senior Economist at the European Central Bank; and Kira Engelhardt, a Head of Data, Analytics & IOTat EON. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to hear from leading experts in economics and participate in a lively discussion on gender equality in the field.

Lunch will be provided for all attendees, so you can network and engage with fellow economists and gender equality advocates over a delicious meal. However, spots for this event are limited, and registration is mandatory. Don’t miss your chance to be part of this exciting and informative event!
