More about our partner: ADBI

ADBI, the Bank of Italy’s women’s association, was established in 2007 as an independent organization, free from political or trade union affiliations, and open to women employed at the Bank of Italy. Its mission is to enhance women’s roles, increase recognition of their professional contributions, and raise awareness of gender equality and non-discrimination both within and outside the Bank of Italy.

ADBI fosters a culture of gender equality and non-discrimination in the workplace through a multi-channel approach: meetings and seminars on gender issues, dissemination of best practices and benchmarking, emails, newsletters, and Intranet content. Seminars are open to all staff and are advertised through the Intranet and the internal newsletter. ADBI also advocates for the implementation of gender equality policies by engaging with the Bank’s top management, HR and Diversity Manager, and trade unions through letters and calls to action.

ADBI is actively involved in multiple women’s networks to foster mutual empowerment and contributes to conferences and discussions with representatives from cultural, political, media, trade union, equal opportunities, entrepreneurial, and professional fields. It also promotes meetings, dialogue, and joint initiatives with women from other institutions.
