About the event

Are women well-represented in economics? Join us for a thought-provoking discussion on the latest WiE Index results and female leadership in the field. The Women in Economics Initiative aims to promote gender equality and diversity in the field of economics by measuring and highlighting the representation of women in academic, public, and private sectors through the WiE Index.

Kaneta Zillur and Carolin Formella will present the latest results from 2023, followed by a panel discussion on female leadership in economics with three distinguished experts in the field: Dr. Ines Helm, an Associate Professor of Economics at LMU; Dr. Lea Immel, an economic consultant at the TWS Partners; and Dr. Dorothee Buehler, an Economist at the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy. Don't miss this unique opportunity to hear from leading experts in economics and participate in a lively discussion on gender equality in the field.
