We are excited to invite you to the 6th edition of our WiE Inspire event series, jointly hosted by The Women in Economics Initiative e.V., the Economics Student Association as well as the Economics Alumni Network of the University of Bonn! This year’s session is focused on career journeys and insights in the field of development economics.


Join us for an engaging discussion with two accomplished professionals:

Dr. Bezawit Beyene Chichaibelu, Senior Researcher in the Division of Economic and Technological Change at the Center for Development Research (ZEF), University of Bonn. Beza is an accomplished researcher specializing in development economics, agricultural economics, and sustainable development. She has led and contributed to projects funded by IFAD, BMZ, FAO, the EU, DFG, and IGC, employing mixed-methods research, policy analysis, and impact evaluations.
