Writing Workshop and Game

The theme of this year’s International Women’s Day is #InspireInclusion. So with that in mind, we wanted to host a writing workshop which brings our community together and helps build confidence in one’s writing. With writing, it can be so easy to overthink every paragraph, sentence, and even word to the point where you’re just thinking and not writing any words on the page. This workshop is meant to give everyone a chance to practice writing without this kind of overthinking through collaboration and fun writing prompts. We’ll start the workshop with meeting everyone, explaining the activity, and then will work in small teams, and finish up with reflecting and sharing some of the words we wrote. Please do not feel that you need to be at full brain capacity for this; it is meant to be a fun activity where you simply type your thoughts (and hopefully have a laugh or two).

Do you need to prepare? Nope! Grab your favourite drink or snack and make yourself comfortable.
