Lena Michaelis
Lena holds a BSc in Economics from Bonn and an MSc in International Health Policy (Health Economics) from the London School of Economics. She is currently completing her MSc in Economics at Humboldt-University of Berlin and has been an active member of the WiE Events team since 2021, now serving as Head of the Berlin local branch, where she leads local events and network building initiatives.

Sophie Felice Dreyhsig
Sophie is currently in the final year of her master's program in Economics and Management Science at Humboldt Universität zu Berlin, while simultaneously working as a student employee at a solar energy solutions provider. Driven by a passion for fostering supportive environments for women and people of diverse genders, Sophie actively contributes to the Berlin Local Branch of Women in Economics as its Vice President.

Emma Bode
Emma is currently working towards her Bachelor’s degree at Humboldt University of Berlin, with a strong interest in Development Economics and Macroeconomics. She has a particular passion for exploring issues related to Gender Equality. In her free time, she loves practicing Pilates, reading contemporary literature and drawing.

Sarah Brehmer
Sarah is a Master's student in Economics at the University of Mannheim with a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy & Economics from the University of Bayreuth. She has worked as an Economic and Policy Analyst at the European Commission and is interested in macroeconomics, monetary policy, and financial economics. In her free time, she enjoys reading and training for a triathlon, while also leading the local branch of WiE e.V. in Mannheim.

Lillian Scharnhorst
Lillian is an Economics undergraduate at the University of Mannheim. She is interested in Development and Health Economics. She is the vice-president of the local group WiE Mannheim. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, reading and travelling.

Elvira Dresely
Elvira is studying in her undergraduate program at the University of Mannheim. She joined the local WiE Team in September 2024 as the local treasurer. She is excited about the future and wants to help and encourage other young women. She is interested in Macroeconomics and European/International Economics. In her free time, she loves to play handball, travel around the world, and spend quality time with family and friends.

Helen Dawson
Helen completed her bachelor’s degree at the University of Heidelberg and recently finished her master’s in economics at the University of Mannheim, where she discovered a passion for economic history. She also spent an exchange semester at the Université Libre de Bruxelles. Now, Helen is moving to Berlin to begin her career as a public sector consultant. As one of the founding members of the Mannheim branch of a local student organization, she has actively worked to connect, empower, and inform students on campus. In her free time, Helen is involved in politics and teaches dance.

Rebecca Dupré
Rebecca is a master’s student in Economics at the University of Mannheim. She previously studied Political Science and Economics at the University of Münster. Her academic interests include political economy, financial economics, and digitalization. In her free time, she enjoys playing music, particularly the French horn in an orchestra, and inline skating.
