Ambika Sharma
Ambika is an undergraduate student at the University of Illinois Chicago, pursuing a double major in Economics and Computer Science. She is passionate about building platforms that broaden awareness and engagement in economics, business, mathematics, and public policy. Alongside her academic and research interests, she contributes to independent media and enjoys exploring ideas across disciplines. In her free time, she plays basketball, swims, and plays badminton, and also enjoys singing and learning through new experiences.

Edith Wong
Edith is an undergraduate student at the University of Toronto and majoring in mathematics and economics. She is interested in behavioural economics and has conducted research on choice architecture, group decision-making, and housing policies as a research assistant. In her free time, she likes to listen to music and exercise.

Vishnushree Venkatesh
Vish is a Policy Analyst with two master’s degrees in economics and behavioural economics. Her focus includes leveraging behavioural science for positive change in energy, sustainability, and social impact. Currently, she works for the Commission for Regulation of Utilities in Ireland . Outside of work, Vish is a dedicated foodie and fitness enthusiast.

Klara is a PhD candidate in Economics at the ifo Institute's Dresden branch, working on topics related to political economy and elections. In her free time, she enjoys working out and going to concerts or theatre events.

Marianna Defendini-Torres
Marianna is a young economist with an MSc. in Gender, Development and Globalisation from LSE. Her work focuses on creating inclusive spaces and centering voices usually left at the margins. She is a climate and gender justice advocate. She joins WiE to further her work on creating spaces that center women and gender-diverse bodies—especially BIPOC—within the field of economics. In her free time, you may find her reading and drinking café con leche.
