We are Women in Economics Mannheim, a student initiative connecting women in economics. While our focus in on promoting inclusivity for under-represented genders, we are open to everyone who shares our vision. We aim to inform about women’s contributions and the challenges they face in academia, public, and private sectors, while empowering them to unlock their full potential and foster a more inclusive discourse in the field.
Every semester, we host events exploring the role of women in economics, their achievements, the challenges they face, and the different career paths available.
Our goal is to create a network where economics students can exchange ideas, support each other, and build lasting relationships that empower everyone in the field.
