Aditi Bhardwaj
With passion for both psychology and economics , Aditi completed her MSc in Behavioural Economics at University College Dublin in 2023. At present ,she is working as a Commercial Analyst in the Energy Sector. Her past work experience includes roles as a Growth Analyst and Strategy Consultant. She is joining WiE to connect with like-minded individuals and contribute to advancing and celebrating women in economics.

Victoria Galante Ruiz
Victoria is an undergraduate student at the University of South Florida, majoring in Economics and Political Science. Originally from Brazil, she is passionate about civic engagement and exploring how economics can be used to reduce inequality and promote inclusive development. Her academic interests include globalization, development, and political economy. She enjoys budgeting and helping organizations allocate resources effectively. Outside of academics, Victoria loves to cook and finds joy in sharing meals and connecting with others through food.

Ella Needler
Ella is in her PhD at the University of Groningen exploring the evolution of financial theory. Her academic interests include topics of fundamental uncertainty, central banking, and gender through the subfields of the history and methodology of economics, macro, and finance. She holds a bachelors in economics and finance from Washington University in St. Louis and a Research Masters in Economics and Philosophy from Erasmus University Rotterdam. Ella has worked across macro, finance, and central banking with internship experience at the St. Louis Fed and professional experience at Ortec Finance.

Ngan Phan
Ngan is currently a high school student hoping to pursue international business in college. She has a keen interest inclusivity and has been an advocate for LGBTQ+ and gender equality at her previous high school and would like to reach a broader audience through her work as a writer and editor at WiE. In her free time, she likes to read classic literatures, cook, watch movies.

Jana Schütz
Jana is a postdoctoral researcher in Economics at Jönköping International Business School. Her research focuses on pension and gender economics. She is particularly interested in the effects of information provision on policy preferences regarding pensions and gender inequality, and on retirement planning.

Madalo Kaliwo
Madalo Kaliwo is a young professional with a Bachelor's degree in social sciences, where she majored in Economics and minored in psychology, from the University of Malawi. She also holds a diploma in Business Management (ABE) from the Malawi College of Accountancy.
Madalo is currently serving as a Planning and Monitoring and Evaluation Officer and Investment Officer at the Greenbelt Authority, where she applies her knowledge and expertise to support sustainable irrigation initiatives in Malawi.

Tanika Kapa
Tanika , moving between Houston and Chennai, is an author and published researcher in the fields of economics and environmental policy, with her work featured in renowned interdisciplinary journals. As of recently, she is working on a historical economics textbook for Central Michigan university with a professor and research economist at the National Bureau of Economic Research. Outside of academics, she is a classical dancer with multiple performances under her belt.
